Concept of the album
Roch wanted to write a positive album. Even if the song was basically a sad song, he put some lights in it to induce hope.
Behind the scenes of songwriting
1. Higher
This is one of the first songs that was composed for the new album. Roch wanted to write a very positive song.
2. Don't give up
In concert, Roch introduces this song by telling that it was composed in London. He just broke up with Kimberley and had a hard time. He composed the song with Ally Thompson who was losing his father to an illness. Roch says that this song gives hope. If you listen to it, it gives you the energy to go on.

C'est une chanson qui parle de rupture, de séparation. La chanson dit que c'est dure de se séparer, mais il faut vivre sa vie et avancer. La chanson parle d'une histoire d'amour qui n'a pas marché. Roch dit que tout le monde se sent à un moment donné seul.

The English version of "L'irrésistible". In concert, Roch says that his girlfriend-singer Anghun, when she first heard the song, immediatly thought that this is a song to make babies by.

After his ski accident, Roch spent a lot of time watching tv. He was amazed by the reality shows shown. He compares reality shows with trash tv (they speak about plastic chirurgy, betrahal, sex changes, etc.)

The song "Antidote" has been written years ago. It speaks about the good and bad things that we pass on to our children, and that the best antidote is always love, to love very much....
